Alliance Landfill regularly conducts air monitoring, to assure that its cap and gas collection system are working properly. Flares are equipped with recording systems and the data from these systems is collected and kept on file. We also pay close attention to the efficiency of the machinery operated on our property and commit a great deal of resources to dust control. This includes the frequent sweeping and washing of paved areas, and the operation of a state-of-the-art tire wash that washes the tires and undercarriages of every truck that leaves our property (weather permitting).
